Maddy Loucas

Photographer & Communications Specialist

Maddy is a fine art photographer and communications specialist from New York. Her primary medium is digital photography; she occasionally shoots with film. Maddy's artwork focuses on literal and abstract interpretations of landscapes. Her photographs are not heavily edited and is intended to portray exactly what she sees through her camera's lens. Maddy's photographs have been featured in various group exhibitions - and in print and digital publications - in New York and Baltimore. 

Maddy served as a photographer covering events and concerts for Goucher College's music department, and dedicated her time to teach darkroom and studio lighting techniques to beginner and intermediate students at Goucher College in 2014. She has also served as a volunteer at the International Center of Photography teaching teenagers black and white photography and maintaining the dark room facilities in 2016. Most recently, Maddy has worked as an event and concert photographer for musicians in New York City. She received her B.A. in Communications & Media Studies from Goucher College.

Maddy currently resides in Baltimore working as a freelance photographer and in public relations and advertising.
